About the product

Medium Cut is a polishing compound with medium cutting power designed to produce a high-quality surface finish. It is designed primarily for single-stage paint polishing, combining defect removal with an attractive finish in a single step. The water-based formula with an aluminium oxide abrasive supports a low-dust work process, which helps reduce working time. The product does not contain fillers, silicones or waxes. It removes P2000–P2500 sanding marks.

ULTRACOAT Medium Cut works best in combination with medium-hard polishing pads. It is suitable for all types of polishing machines. Combined with a Dual Action machine, it provides a high-quality, hologram-free finish. A subtle fruity fragrance makes the polishing process more pleasant.

How to use it

Important: Shake before use. Use on a clean and cool surface. Apply 4–5 drops onto the polishing pad. Polish with moderate pressure. Work on elements approximately 50 × 50 cm in size. After polishing, remove any remaining compound with ULTRACOAT Finest Wipe.

What types of paint defects can Medium Cut remove?

Medium Cut effectively reduces moderate scratches, wash-induced marring, paint oxidation, and sanding marks left by P2000–P2500 grit sandpaper (very fine abrasive paper commonly used to prepare surfaces before polishing). The level of correction depends on the paint hardness and the polishing pad used.

Is Medium Cut suitable for a one-step paint correction?

Yes. Medium Cut was specifically developed for one-step paint correction. It effectively removes moderate paint defects while delivering a high-gloss finish, often eliminating the need for an additional finishing stage.
