About the product

Aurora is the most versatile coating in the INTELIGRAPH SERIES, suitable for nearly all external surfaces of vehicles, including paints, wheels, and plastics. Thanks to the addition of graphene platelets and a high SiO2 content, it performs exceptionally well as a standalone protective solution. Aurora can also be used as a top coat or for maintaining previously applied coatings.

The graphene platelets in Aurora make the coated surface extremely smooth, enhancing paint depth and gloss. The graphene-infused smoothness also contributes to its superhydrophobic properties, minimizing dirt adhesion and facilitating easier removal.

Outstanding visual effects are paired with paint protection lasting up to 9 months. Aurora provides resistance to changing environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures, intense UV radiation, and exposure to chemicals across the pH 2–13 range.

The versatility of the Aurora coating also means easy application, making it suitable even for less experienced users. The product is designed for use without strictly controlled environmental conditions. Another advantage of Aurora is its quick and easy curing – the vehicle can be used on the same day the coating is applied.

How to use it

Shake the bottle well, then apply a generous amount of the product to the applicator. Spread evenly over the surface using a crosshatch pattern. Allow the product to dwell for 30 seconds, then remove any excess with a clean microfiber towel. Buff with the dry side of the towel for a perfect finish. Leave the vehicle for 8-10 hours to allow the coating to fully cure.

Important: Do not apply to hot surfaces. Wear a protective mask and gloves.

Can I apply a protective coating by myself?

Yes, applying the coating yourself is possible, but it requires proper preparation and ensuring optimal conditions at the workspace. Our products are designed so that, as long as the correct procedures are followed, the application is user-friendly even for those just starting their detailing journey.

Is it necessary to perform at least a one-step paint correction before applying a coating, such as Aurora?

For the proper performance of the Aurora coating, we recommend full surface preparation, which includes: washing, decontamination, paint correction, and degreasing the surface.

Aurora on exterior plastics - how long should I wait before buffing?

Depending on the type of plastic and how absorbent it is, you can buff the coating, but this isn't necessary in every case. If the surface is evenly darkened after application without any visible streaks or product residue, you may leave it without buffing. However, if you notice high spots or uneven coverage, you should buff the surface to achieve a perfect finish. The flash-off and buffing time depends on the specific coating used and the conditions at the application site.

What works better as a coating booster - Aurora or Skyline?

For routine maintenance after washing, products like Ceramic Q-Detailer are ideal. As a booster during a professional coating maintenance service, you can use Scoat v2 or Aurora.

Can Skyline and Aurora coatings be layered (the so-called "sandwich" method)?

Applying multiple layers of either Skyline or Aurora is not recommended, as it does not increase their durability or improve their protective properties. These products are engineered to deliver their full potential - including extreme hydrophobicity and gloss - with just a single layer. However, if you are interested in layering, it is possible to combine two different coatings using the so-called ""sandwich"" method. The key is to follow the correct sequence: first, apply the more durable coating, followed by the less durable one as the top layer. In practice, this means you can apply Skyline as the base and Aurora as the top coat.

The car has been repainted. How long should I wait before applying a coating?

In the case of freshly painted components, we recommend waiting a minimum of 3 weeks before application; however, the final decision should be consulted with your painter.

Is coating application safe for health?

Our coatings contain solvents with a characteristic odor. We recommend working in well-ventilated areas. In the absence of proper air circulation or during long-term professional use, it is recommended to use a protective mask with an organic vapor filter and protective gloves.
